Telemedicne is now legal. The MoHFW has notified the Telemedicine Practice Guidelines on 25th March 2020.
In view of the impending Phase 3 of the COVID 19 pandemic. It becomes imperative on the part of the part of Doctors and the medical fraternity to keep our hospitals and resources available for any eventaulity. Tele-health consultations will reduce the burden on the healthcare system and will go a long way in managing the pandemic, should the phase come.
On the recommendation of NITI Ayog, an online basic Tele-health introductory orientation cum training program is being planned by the Telemedicne Society of India (TSI) supported by DHIndia Association and other digital health partners. The aim is to train ALL doctors in India on the basics of Teemedicne use.
